What is Preventative Drain Maintenance?
No one thinks twice about what goes down their shower drain until nothing will go down and water starts pooling around your ankles. In the past, unexpected shower drain clogs meant manually snaking gross clumps from the drainpipe or pouring unnecessary quantities of dangerous chemicals down the drain to dissolve them.
Our NeverClog systems are installed beneath the drain grate—out of the way of the user—allowing you to shower normally. Over time our basket fills with hair; neutralizing captured waste is quick and easy. Simply leave the system in place and apply our chemical blend, or remove the system and clean or replace the detachable waste chamber.

Routine Maintenance
Drain Defenders fill with hair and must be cleaned about once a month, depending on shower usage. There are several ways to quickly clean out your basket to continue protecting your drain:
1. Apply Waste Neutralizing Blend to efficiently neutralize your captured hair without needing to remove your basket or drain cover.
2. Remove your basket from the drain, unscrew the Waste Chamber, and discard the captured hair for chemical-free maintenance.
3. Remove your basket from the drain and replace the Waste Chamber with a new unit for chemical-free, “gross-free” maintenance.
